Are you interested in supporting and advocating for immigrant communities? Join IFSI this Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM for an online conference to discuss and strategize ways we can collectively help immigrants overcome challenges during these times of crisis and increase access to essential services. This conference is free and open to the public. Just click on the link below to register with your first and last name and email address. You will then receive an email with a Zoom link to participate in the meeting this Saturday at 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
This online meeting is associated with the 2nd Annual Toussaint Loverture Community-Building Symposium, which was originally scheduled to take place on May 2nd at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. The full in-person conference has been postponed to a later date which will be announced once we have a clear idea regarding when large in-person gatherings will once again be possible. Please refer to the image above to see the informational flyer for the original meeting.
At the meeting on Saturday, we will have a brief introduction facilitated by Geralde Gabeau, the IFSI Executive Director, followed by breakout sessions by sector where we will discuss challenges, accomplishments, and ideas for filling gaps to meet the needs of immigrant families during these unprecedented times.
Please register now, and we hope to see you there!
